Marlin Awards Nominee “Moses” Found Dead

Nassau, Bahamas. (Jan. 31, 2009) The Executive Board of the Marlin Awards is sad to report the death of one of our nominees this year, gospel danceheall-recording artist Kasim ‘Moses’ Grant (1980-2009). According to online media reports, Moses was found dead in a gully in Gordon Town, St. Andrews, Jamaica this past Tuesday January 27th. Moses was apparently involved in a shooting incident the night before where one man was injured.

Marlin Awards Announces First Ever Online Nominees Monty G Now leads with Thirteen Nominations

Nassau, Bahamas. (Jan.12, 2009) The Executive Board of the Marlin Awards officially announced the introduction of two (2) new categories, Artist of the Year and Record of the Year. The inclusion of these two new awards will increase the total amount of award categories this year from fifty-eight (58) to Sixty (60).
