Moses, Sis Sharon Dyer Sharpe & Mista Green Win Posthumous Marlin Awards

Jamaican gospel dancehall artist, the late Kasim’ ‘Moses’ Grant won his first Marlin Award several months after his tragic death in Jamaica. The Main Street recording artist won the award for Culture Recording of the Year for his single “Feels it Knows It” from his debut album “Testify”.

Marlin Awards Nominee “Moses” Found Dead

Nassau, Bahamas. (Jan. 31, 2009) The Executive Board of the Marlin Awards is sad to report the death of one of our nominees this year, gospel danceheall-recording artist Kasim ‘Moses’ Grant (1980-2009). According to online media reports, Moses was found dead in a gully in Gordon Town, St. Andrews, Jamaica this past Tuesday January 27th. Moses was apparently involved in a shooting incident the night before where one man was injured.
